Thank you everyone for your support. Please leave comments, feedback, thoughts on the short film "MANO" and the upcoming full length feature film "The Spanish Harlem Project", starring some of Hollywood's biggest named talents. "MANO"is an entirely separate film from "The SHP Project".
"The SHP Project" is a story about the power of friendship, brotherhood, love and redemption. It's a story about dance, life, passion, soul and the difference between simply being alive and truly living. Two childhood friends, Victor and Machito, once regarded as the cities best salsa dancers are separated after the death of Victor's father. Years later while working as a banker in Dubai, Victor returns to NY. Although there for work, he is reunited with his past and joins his childhood friends in an effort to save the neighborhood they both grew up in - Spanish Harlem.
In the full length version there will be lots of dancing and an actual event called "Represente", where the best dancers from each city represent their city in a global dance competition. Although this will certainly showcase lots of dancing the way we all experience today, "The SHP Project" is still a story focusing on the journey of the lead characters.

I miss you! We are going to make the story of salsa come alive in the homes of millions! Can't wait!!!! ;) Don't forget who your muse was in the beginning....
Well that looks promising. It would certainly be nice to see a film with realistic dancing and realistic club situations without all the ridiculous Hollywood inaccuracies that you find in movies like Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights. Good luck
The trailer looks HOT! the dancing looks Hot! The story looks interesting! I definitely want to see this in the big screen, so hopefully we can GO TO THE MOVIES! Go see MANO!
I had always hoped that America and the world could see what I see when I go out dancing. Mano seems to deliver the sights and sounds of a REAL dance environment. I see Psyon, Magna, Earl Rush, Ronald and so many more outstanding dancers, I'm excited to view it with many of my friends.
I cant wait to watch it on the big screen!!!
WHEN, WHEN, WHEN is this coming out? Awesome to see faces of dancers I know. Intense story line,Hot Dancing, Hot Music, Hot Bods (Go Magna), lol. Can't wait. Dying to see!
Wow! This looks HOT!! I was waiting for another Salsa movie to hit the big screen again! Last one I saw was back in 1988 "Salsa". Can't wait to check it out and support MANO!!
Love it! You are doing a great job Tony. I can't wait to attend a premier. Cuidate
Spanish Harlem Project will be the first film to accurately showcase the dance as we know it to be danced on the streets, in the clubs and all of the major events around the world. And I'm sure it will bring together some of the best talent out there.
Tony, what can I say other than I wish you the absolute best and no one deserves it more. I was honoured to be one of the first people you chose to participate in the short and I continue to be honoured to be a best friend along your journey to making this a feature film. I know it's been a really tough one to stand by your vision instead of falling victim to the various pressures and to do it alone is incredible and admirable. Through this work I'm sure you will inspire further growth and interest in the dance as well as inspire young directors to stay true to their visions.
You are one of the most dedicated, perseverant, honestly ambitious and genuine people I know in my life. Your efforts deserve all the support, recognition, praise and reward that you have received and will receive.
Love you lots Durk.
Always at your side!

It has almost almost been the 15th time that I've watched "MANO"! It is an inspiring master piece worked on with love and passion... A picture for our eyes to see, brains to be exercised and hearts to be moved!
So Surreal with a touch of abstract!
Tony I don't know much about you but your work says so much about you... It reflects you as a genuine person and as a true artist...
It is an absolute privilege to support you and to witness your success... you deserve it.
